Baseball Northern Territory Welcomes New Directors to the Board
Baseball Northern Territory (Baseball NT) is excited to announce the appointment of four exceptional individuals to its board of directors. In a significant move to drive the growth and future of the sport, Baseball NT has expanded its board from three to seven directors. This expansion reflects a renewed commitment to fostering diversity, strengthening community engagement, and advancing strategic initiatives that promote baseball across the Northern Territory. With a shared passion for sport and extensive experience across various industries, the newly appointed directors bring valuable perspectives and expertise to help shape the next chapter for Baseball NT
Kerrie-Anne Fior
Kerrie-Anne is a seasoned healthcare professional and business leader with extensive experience in strategic planning and operational management. As a Clinical Nurse Consultant at Alice Springs Hospital and a Director in family-owned businesses, she has excelled in fostering inclusive environments and driving organizational success. Kerrie-Anne’s active involvement with the Alice Springs Baseball Association underscores her dedication to growing grassroots sports and promoting inclusivity within the baseball community.
Nicole Jervis
Nicole brings nearly three decades of expertise in marketing, communications, and event management. She has worked on high-profile campaigns and events, showcasing her talent for creative direction, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. Her leadership in initiatives like the FABalice Festival and Alice Springs Brewing Co., paired with her volunteer contributions to Alice Springs Baseball, highlights her commitment to enhancing community programs. Nicole’s vision will be instrumental in raising Baseball NT’s profile across the Territory and beyond.
Lachlan Modrzynski
Lachlan is a dynamic professional with a background in project management, operations, and youth engagement. His diverse career spans roles in government, hospitality, and sport, including a tenure with Baseball NT as a Youth Engagement and Project Officer. With a strong focus on developing pathways and expanding participation, Lachlan is dedicated to building opportunities for athletes and fostering the growth of baseball in the NT.
Sebastiaan Nooij
Sebastiaan brings a wealth of experience as a former professional athlete, a World Champion with the Netherlands baseball team, and the General Manager for the Baseball Academy Amsterdam. His impressive career spans both sports and business, including leadership roles in recruitment management and operations. With his unique blend of strategic expertise and a deep passion for baseball, Sebastiaan is set to make a valuable contribution to the growth and development of Baseball NT.
