After a history-making bronze-medal campaign in 2025, the NT Buffaloes Women are preparing to return to Queensland—and expressions of interest are now open for players, coaches and team staff.
The Buffaloes’ return to representative women’s baseball in 2025 was the Territory’s first in 12 years. The team made an immediate impact, defeating North Queensland to secure the Division 2 bronze medal at the Queensland Women’s State Titles.
It was an important milestone for women’s baseball in the Territory and a reflection of the growing opportunities available to female players through the Darwin Women’s Baseball League, development activities in Alice Springs and Baseball NT’s representative pathway.
Now, the Buffaloes are looking for the next group of players and staff ready to build on that success in 2026.
About the tournament
The 2026 Queensland Women’s State Titles will be held from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 December 2026.
The tournament will again be hosted by Runcorn Indians Baseball Club at:
Wakerley Park
65 Dew Street

The Queensland Women’s State Titles continue to grow as an important fixture on the women’s baseball calendar. Baseball Queensland described its 2025 tournament as its largest and most-engaged female titles event to date, with 395 registered players, coaches, officials and support personnel involved across the women’s and junior competitions.
