Team Donald Clinches Lead In Fourth Inning To Defeat Team Travis

Team Donald defeated Team Travis 4-3 on Friday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at three with Team Donald batting in the top of the fourth when Jayden Brown drew a walk, scoring one run.

Team Donald earned the victory despite allowing Team Travis to score three runs in the third inning. Team Travis scored its runs on a home run by Hamish Materne.

Team Donald fired up the offense in the first inning, when Michael Billman singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

Team Travis knotted the game up at three in the bottom of the third inning, when Materne homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs.

Connor Kroonstuiver led things off on the hill for Team Donald. The ace lasted two innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out four.

Timana Bishop was on the mound for Team Travis. Bishop went two-thirds of an inning, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out two. Johnathan Pollard threw one inning in relief.

Billman, William Corby, Max Barron, and Gauge Larmon each collected one hit to lead Team Donald. Team Donald was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Jamie McCain had the most chances in the field with five.

Caydence Larmon led Team Travis with two hits in two at bats. Team Travis was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Materne made the most plays with three.
