Baseball NT bids farewell to General Manager Rob Gower, who departs this week after an impactful 2.5 years at the helm of the organisation.
Rob’s leadership has been marked by remarkable growth, bold innovation, and a renewed energy across the Territory. His time with Baseball NT has left an enduring legacy – one built on passion, progress, and people.

During his tenure, Rob spearheaded numerous milestones that have shaped the current and future landscape of baseball in the NT, including:

Welcoming members of the Australian Women’s Baseball Team, the Emeralds, to Alice Springs to run clinics

Recording the NT’s first-ever Division 1 Little League win at the Nationals

Appointing the NT’s first-ever umpire at the Nationals

Launching Darwin’s first Women’s Baseball League

Accrediting 19 new coaches and 12 new umpires

Securing 8 new sponsors to help drive the game’s future
